What does Google Classroom do?
Google Classroom sits between you and Google Drive and provides the teacher/student and Parent a friendly way to manage classroom documents. Here’s what you can do with Google Classroom:
- Assignments: The main thing you, will do with Google Classroom is reviewing homework assignments for your students. When an assignment is created, you can read and see the materials students have received via e-mail notification. You could see when the students have “turn in” the assignments when finished, and you can see the grade of the assignments.
- Make announcements: Teachers could make a quick announcement for the entire class, which is e-mailed to all the students in the class.
- Store classroom materials: The materials added to an assignment aren’t the only documents you can store. Any other necessary documents for students will be saved on Google Drive.
- Allow students to interact: Students have the ability to comment on assignments and announcements, as well as e-mail each other through the Classroom interface.
